There are about 400,000 children in the U.S. foster care system, and more than 20,000 of those children age out each year.
When children age out of the foster care system, they lose access to every educational, financial, and social support offered by the system.
This group is among the populations at the greatest risk of homelessness.

How Will We Change This?

Aging out of the foster care system is not an option at House of Providence. Rather, foster youth are equipped with the skills and support to grow into whole, independent adults realizing their full potential.
